Terms of Service
Effective Date: December 27, 2023
Last Updated: September 23, 2026
Welcome to Secured Link.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://secured-link.com, Smart Links, and any other products, applications, software, digital services, subscriptions, memberships, or related services provided through Secured Link.
By purchasing, registering for, accessing, or using a Secured Link product or service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not purchase, access, or use the applicable service.
1. Secured Link Services
Secured Link provides online services, software applications, digital products, tools, and related services.
Certain products, including Smart Links, may operate as software-as-a-service (“SaaS”) applications accessed through a web browser.
Features may vary by product, membership level, subscription level, license, account type, or service purchased.
We may add, change, improve, limit, replace, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary to operate or maintain the service.
2. Smart Links
Smart Links is a hosted link-management and traffic-routing application offered as part of Secured Link.
Depending on the customer’s account and available features, Smart Links may provide functionality including shortened or customized URLs, campaign management, click or visitor statistics, QR codes, destination routing, geographic or device routing, destination rotation, split testing, custom domains, password-protected links, tracking or retargeting integration, API functionality, and other link-management features.
Availability of individual features may depend on your plan, membership level, technical configuration, or changes to the underlying software.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our paid services.
If you use Secured Link on behalf of a company, organization, agency, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on that entity’s behalf.
4. Account Registration
Some services require a user account.
You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep your account information reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your username, password, API credentials, account credentials, and other authentication information.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless the activity resulted directly from a security failure under our control.
You may not knowingly allow unauthorized persons to access your account.
If you suspect unauthorized use, you should change your credentials and contact us promptly.
5. Purchases and Payments
We display prices for products and services at the time of purchase.
We may process payments through Stripe, PayPal, Easy Digital Downloads, or another authorized payment provider.
By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the amount displayed during checkout.
Taxes may be added where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before completing a transaction.
6. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing
We may sell certain services through recurring subscriptions.
When purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize recurring charges according to the billing frequency displayed at checkout until the subscription is canceled or otherwise terminated.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically refund amounts already paid.
Features associated with a paid subscription may become unavailable when the subscription expires, is canceled, payment fails, or the account is terminated.
7. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility, when offered, will be governed by the refund terms displayed on the applicable product page, checkout page, offer, or written agreement at the time of purchase.
Except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated in a refund guarantee, digital products, SaaS access, account activation, setup services, and services already delivered may be non-refundable.
Do not use chargebacks as a substitute for contacting us about legitimate billing concerns.
We reserve the right to suspend an account associated with an unresolved fraudulent or improper chargeback.
8. Acceptable Use
You may use Secured Link services only for lawful purposes.
You may not use Smart Links or another Secured Link service to distribute malware, phishing pages, fraudulent offers, illegal content, unlawful spam, malicious scripts, deceptive downloads, stolen content, infringing material, or content intended to compromise another person’s device, network, account, or information.
You may not use the service to circumvent security systems, conceal unlawful activity, impersonate others, interfere with service availability, probe systems without authorization, overload infrastructure, scrape protected systems, or engage in conduct that could reasonably harm Secured Link, our service providers, other customers, or third parties.
We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, third parties, or Secured Link.
9. Customer Responsibility for Links and Campaigns
You are responsible for the content, destination pages, offers, advertisements, campaigns, tracking technologies, scripts, pixels, domains, and URLs you use through Smart Links.
Secured Link does not endorse a website or offer merely because a customer routes traffic to it through our service.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions, licenses, notices, or consents required for your campaigns.
10. Privacy, Tracking, Analytics, and Cookies
Smart Links may provide functionality involving analytics, visitor information, tracking scripts, retargeting pixels, referrer data, geographic information, device information, cookies, URL parameters, or similar technologies.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of these technologies requires privacy notices, consent mechanisms, cookie disclosures, contractual terms, or other measures under laws applicable to you or your visitors.
Secured Link does not provide legal compliance services merely by providing technical functionality.
Your use of personal information through the service must comply with applicable law.
11. Custom Domains
Certain plans may allow you to use a custom domain.
You are responsible for ensuring that you own or have authorization to use any domain you connect to the service.
Custom-domain functionality may require DNS changes and may depend on external domain registrars, DNS providers, hosting environments, certificate providers, propagation times, and other systems beyond Secured Link’s direct control.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of a custom domain when problems originate with a third-party registrar, DNS provider, hosting provider, certificate provider, network, or configuration controlled by the customer.
12. Third-Party Technology and White-Label Services
Some Secured Link products or services may be based wholly or partly on software, technology, infrastructure, APIs, licenses, white-label systems, reseller systems, or services provided by third parties.
Secured Link may legally license, resell, configure, host, integrate, brand, or otherwise make such technology available as part of our services.
By using these services, you acknowledge that certain functionality may depend upon third-party technology providers.
A third-party provider may modify its software, discontinue development, alter its licensing terms, discontinue an API or integration, terminate infrastructure, cease operations, or otherwise make continued delivery of a feature or service impractical or impossible.
When reasonably possible, Secured Link may attempt to maintain, replace, migrate, modify, or provide an alternative service.
However, we cannot guarantee that a third-party technology provider will continue providing or supporting its technology indefinitely.
13. Changes or Discontinuation of Services
Technology changes.
We may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue a feature or service because of security concerns, software changes, third-party provider actions, infrastructure changes, legal requirements, insufficient technical compatibility, discontinued vendor support, product retirement, or other legitimate business or technical reasons.
Where commercially reasonable, we may provide advance notice of a material discontinuation affecting active paying customers.
If a prepaid service becomes permanently unavailable before the end of a paid service period and no reasonably comparable replacement is provided, we may determine an appropriate remedy based on the unused portion of the affected service and applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms guarantees perpetual access to any particular software application, feature, third-party integration, or technology platform.
14. Service Availability
We work to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Services may occasionally become unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, hosting failures, network problems, cyberattacks, third-party outages, DNS failures, software defects, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance as needed.
15. Backups and Customer Data
Where the service permits customers to store configuration information or campaign data, customers should maintain independent copies of information that is critical to their business.
Although we may maintain backups as part of normal operations, Secured Link does not guarantee that every item of customer data can always be restored.
16. Intellectual Property
The Secured Link name, Smart Links name, website content, branding, documentation, graphics, designs, custom materials, and other proprietary materials created or owned by Secured Link are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Underlying third-party software remains the intellectual property of its respective owner or licensor.
Purchasing access to a service does not transfer ownership of the software, source code, platform, trademarks, documentation, or intellectual property.
You receive only the limited right to access and use the service according to your purchased plan and these Terms.
17. Customer Content
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own and submit through the service.
You grant us the limited rights reasonably necessary to host, process, transmit, display, store, or otherwise handle that content solely to operate and provide the service.
You represent that you have the legal right to use content you submit.
18. API Access
If your account includes API functionality, your API credentials are confidential.
You may not share API credentials publicly or use the API in a manner that creates excessive load, circumvents account limitations, interferes with the system, or violates these Terms.
We may impose reasonable technical limitations to protect the service.
19. Support
We may provide support through the support methods identified on the Secured Link website or within your account.
Support does not necessarily include custom development, marketing consultation, third-party software troubleshooting, DNS management, server administration, or configuration of systems outside our control unless you have separately purchased those services.
20. Suspension and Termination
We may temporarily suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of nonpayment, violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, abusive activity, security threats, unlawful use, excessive technical impact on the service, infringement complaints, or other conduct materially affecting the service or third parties.
Where appropriate, we may provide an opportunity to resolve the issue before permanent termination.
Serious security threats, fraudulent activity, unlawful conduct, or malicious activity may result in immediate suspension.
21. Cancellation by the Customer
You may discontinue using the service at any time.
For recurring subscriptions, you must cancel before the next renewal date to prevent future recurring charges.
Cancellation does not ordinarily result in a prorated refund unless required by applicable law or expressly stated in the applicable offer.
22. Third-Party Websites
Secured Link may contain links or integrations involving third-party websites, products, services, or applications.
We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, privacy practices, performance, representations, or policies of independently operated third parties.
Your dealings with third parties are governed by the agreements between you and those third parties.
23. No Guaranteed Marketing Results
Smart Links and other Secured Link products are tools.
We do not guarantee any particular amount of traffic, revenue, sales, leads, conversions, advertising performance, search ranking, business growth, customer acquisition, or financial result.
Actual results depend on numerous factors outside our control, including your offer, audience, marketing, website, traffic sources, campaign strategy, pricing, competition, and implementation.
24. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Secured Link services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that every service will operate without interruption, contain no errors, remain compatible with every browser or third-party system, or satisfy every customer’s specific business requirements.
Nothing in this section limits warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
25. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Secured Link and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use or inability to use the service.
This includes, where legally permitted, loss of profits, revenue, opportunities, customers, traffic, business information, goodwill, or data.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid to Secured Link for the affected service during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
26. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Secured Link and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, your campaigns, your destination websites, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
27. Force Majeure
Secured Link will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, government actions, widespread internet outages, utility failures, hosting failures, telecommunications interruptions, cyberattacks, labor disruptions, third-party platform failures, or similar events.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our products, technology, business operations, or legal requirements change.
We will post the latest version on Secured Link with a revised “Last Updated” date.
We may also communicate material changes affecting existing customers through reasonable means, when appropriate.
Continued use of the service following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
29. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the business operating Secured Link, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer-protection or other mandatory laws require otherwise.
Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate court having jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another lawful dispute-resolution method.
30. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
31. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, applicable product terms, checkout terms, subscription terms, and any written service agreement between you and Secured Link, constitute the agreement governing your use of the applicable services.
If a separately signed agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separately signed agreement will control to the extent of that conflict.
